I bought this for my dad after a long chukar Hunt and him saying his neck was soar from his vest, the next weekend we had another few day chukar hunt, and his neck no longer hurt that he loves everything about it. Says it fits like an actual shirt or a real vest and not a third bag like the others do.

I've been able to wear the early Season terrain jacket for two Iowa Pheasant weekends so far, one dry and full of tough grasses and the other wet. It held up and performed perfectly for both!

I used my new Chief Upland vest for the North Dakota opener this year. Very impressed with the quality of the vest and components! It was warm and I felt it was very comfortable and I was able to easily attach 2 shell carriers and 2 large water bottles for the dogs. I really like to keep the dogs well watered under warm conditions and the Chief Upland vest did that well

Like I said in earlier review I waited till about 8 or 9 days before I was leaving on a hunt in Michigan and decided to drop the hammer on this vest. After talking with the owner he assured me I would have it before I left for my hunt. I received it in 3 days. Awesome customer service. Before you by a vest do yourself a favor and take a deep dive into what this vest has to offer. You will not be disappointed.

Love the vest and all of the pouches. It’s ridiculously comfortable for miles even with a heavy load and the modular pouch system is what sold me in the first place. It allows all of my gear to be exactly where I need it as well as balancing the weight across the vest.

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my son. I'm impressed with with the quality and the fit and comfort of the vest. However, I am not a fan of the ammo pouches. I had to epoxy the snaps to keep them from coming undone. We are avid chukar hunters and hunt with slings. My sling constantly snags on the ammo pouch. We usually hike 4-6 miles a day and it would be nice to have straps to tie a jacket on or even a pocket for food. I would love to give you input to modify this into the perfect chukar upland vest.

I absolutely love this vest! After wearing this vest for a season and a half, I feel confident that this is the best upland vest on the market. I've worn several strap vests, but this one is by far the best at taking the load off your shoulders. After several adjustments in fit and accessory layout, I've found this to be a key piece to my comfort in the field. With the molle system, there are endless options to customize this vest to your own hunting style. Since my original vest purchase, I've added an additional waterproof ammo box. The magnetic closures on both ammo box styles make them exceptionally versatile in the field. Because of the ability to customize the vest and the attention to detail, I would recommend this vest to any and all upland hunters in the market for a quality, premium vest.
