Great upgrade to the old clips on the vest

Installed a pair on my vest. Looks like it will be a vast improvement over the original set. Will be able to tell the difference between them after hunting season is over in Jan of '25. As of right now they should be a standard item.

Much stronger clips than the originals. Probably use these clips on the original item.

Love them…These are the second pair I’ve purchased and these ones are nicer, somehow, maybe different supplier. Either way I feel like they are a must have and shouldn’t be an add-on just included with the vest.

Original clips are the Achilles tendon of this system but these fix the issue

I can't believe you do not upgrade your models right frm the start. These clips vastiy improve your vest. I had the small clips coming undone all the time

The new oversized clips work great. I lost the origanals and these hold my vest closed much better and are easier to release when I need more room for birds. I guide between 15 and 25 hunts a year at a local hunting preserve and do a ton of upland bird hunting in multiple states. This system is amazing. I have carried as many as 15 birds in my vest and the weight transfer to my waist from my shoulders is remarkable. Thank you for producing such an amazing hunting vest.

Huge upgrade from original clips. Original clips were not keeping the pouch closed up front. These work great.

This is a much better option then the clips that come with the vest. My suggestion would be to eliminate the small clips all together. Add a couple $ more to the vest and include them. The large clips are on par with the quality of your vest.

Definite upgrade from the standard clip. Help keep the vest tighter against your body. Reduces snagging while going through brush.

This is worth the add on. Little ones didn’t work that good with 8-10 birds in the bag.

Absolutely love this vest and all the many pockets and possible configurations possible. The fit is great and works awesome. I only wish the back gear pouch was a little larger and I am really not a fan of the clips. I bought the heavy duty clips which are much better but they are difficult to attach and detach when in a hurry loading birds.

I bought two of the HD Clips for myself and two for my son. I’m using them along with the smaller clips that came with the vest. The HD Clips stay hooked up a lot better. I really like the HD Clips and plan on ordering more to replace the light original clips I’m still using. A great improvement to the vest system.

The original clip broke so I was looking for the replacement. These fill the entire webbing support for the bird bag and are more durable. The angel on the clip also help when re connecting the bag as they are not flat making it easier to align with the loop.

After reading about the stock clips being a little weak I purchased these heavy duty clips to change out to if the others do give out. Big difference in size and will be better if needed in the future.

Vest should come standard with the upgraded clips instead of the ones it comes with vest kinda sucked until I got the upgraded clips now I really like the system

I love my Chief Upland vest, and added the upgraded clips this season. I'm glad I did. I find the game pouch is easier to operate when I'm fully dressed and geared up in the grouse woods. Thank you!

I use my vest for bowhunting and the heavier clips keep my gear in place. The vest has been an excellent investment for me. I scaled down from a backpack, but still carry more than I should. Getting ready for 2 bowhunts.

These are much easier to use and much sturdier than the originals. Great upgrade!

Heavy duty clip is a lot more solid than the original ones. It's worth the upgrade

The only downfall to the vest was the original clip on the game pouch. The new clips fix the issues I was having. They make it a lot easier to access and refasten the game pouch. I'm using two on each side for more support.

Definitely a move up from the original, but cost is to much for pieces of plastic.

Once in place they do the job better than the original clips. BUT I found them very hard to get in place. They would work just as well if they were a 32nd of an inch narrowed.

So much better and easier to use. Much wider clip and open at the top, slides right onto the loop.

Thanks jake for looking out for me with the second clip. My only concern with the original clip was i could see it getting brittle in the in the cold temps. And honestly that would of bothered me But after receiving my vest and in the box was a hand written card thanking me for supporting his business A AMERICAN owned business a dream turned to reality how can you not want to support that. So I bought the upgrade clips figuring I will have back up clips if needed. Well these clips are are well built nice and sturdy and should handle frigid temp with no problem. They will definitely hold up especially for anyone who is chasing bunnies through the briar patches and thickets. 100% worth the few extra dollars to upgrade.
