Uplander Jacket | Earth Tone (Mid Season)

Purpose:
     I must admit, this jacket is one of my most passionate designs ever. The jacket design I really obsessed over and really wanted to bring to life personally. This might be the design I’m most proud of since launching the world’s first fully customizable front-loading upland vest (though our brush pants are not far behind). I don’t believe anything else like this exists, because I designed it for a very specific niche – YOU, the uplander who understands exceptional gear. The Uplander who hunts all seasons and all terrains. Which is why I’m specifically calling this innovation – the Uplander Jacket.

     Designed from scratch with the most dedicated uplanders in mind and made for a wide stretch of mid-season. Built with an ideal balance of durability, comfort and features that, well, I’m convinced don’t exist anywhere else. Our jackets are built different, built better – this is a true one-of-a-kind piece. I don’t care if you own every upland jacket on the planet…none of them are this one. Read on to learn why this early-season jacket is different than everything else you’ve ever seen.

Durable Performance:
-Very lightweight, yet very durable and abrasion-resistant
-Highly breathable
-Built with 4-way stretch throughout, this jacket mirrors your movement
-Adjustable hood with flexible structured visor
-Durable Water Repellent finish sheds light rain (DWR)
-Front core/sternum and bicep fabrics are shielded with waterproof membrane (in addition to DWR), plus a micro fleece backing
-Back, lower front, and arms utilize early-season DWR fabrics, for added breathability and flexibility for a true hybrid Uplander jacket
-Forearms feature a double-layered (and still breathable) advanced Cordura fabric panel for pushing forward through cover with puncture and abrasion resistance
-Waterproof AquaGuard main zipper
-Constructed to easily shed briars and burrs
-Extremely quick-drying (if water ever gets through enough)

Breathable Comfort:
-Half-zip construction for ease of putting on and also for optional ventilation
-Side zipper opens up to make it even easier putting on (and more versatile ventilation if wanted)
-Armpit zippers for breathability in versatile conditions
-Fleece-lined kangaroo pocket for warming your hands and blocking from wind
-Zippered chest pocket doubles as a core vent
-Articulated elbows for purposeful mobility and unrestricted shoulder mounts
-Split rear drop-tail construction adds slight length to the back and helps prevent jacket from riding up while wearing a bird vest
-Comfortable interior neck tape (one of the finer details we’re willing to invest in)
-Built to wear over a t-shirt or a warmer layer

Purposeful Storage:
-Zippered kangaroo pocket is located higher than normal to be more accessible while wearing bird vests
-Kangaroo horizontal zippered drop pocket covered by anorak-style flap to keep the elements out
-Zippered chest pocket
-Mesh-lined and zippered horizontal drop pocket – accessible while wearing strap vests
-Mesh-lined chest pocket with hidden zipper
-Dedicated hanging loop for locker/hook storage (underrated feature and always a must!)

Conditions:
-Mid Season – instead of wearing an insulating base layer or hoodie plus a shell over the top, just wear this. Open vents for cooling, or you can still add a base layer for extra warmth on the much colder days. This is like a softshell hoodie, but way more versatile with warmth in core areas, and extra breathability everywhere else.
