I bought the pouch to use on a belt while working my dogs. It works perfectly. The magnetic top closes securely so shells do not bounce out of the pouch when hustling through the field. I plan to use the pouch for trap shooting as well. Shells stay in place and are easy to access.

When I bought my vest I only bought one shell holder, the waterproof pouch. It didn't take me long to figure out that I needed the Quick grab pouch also. I recommend that anyone buying a vest get the All in bundle, then you will have everything that you need!

I like the size of the pouch, making it useful for a variety of things. A huge plus to me are the shell loops inside the pouch to keep shells from rolling around but still have the ability to put some granola bars or gloves in the pouch.

Attaches securely to the vest with no issues. Chose this model shell pouch because of the ease of operation. Magnets are strong and holds tight. Like this model because there is no zipper for which to contend while in the field.

This vest is functional, well made, and looks amazing. You can see the level at which Chief Upland believes in making a high quality product. I highly recommend this to western bird hunters especially, when hiking miles up and down the mountains chasing chukars and huns, this vest helps you carry everything you need for a long days hunt. The pouch works well and shells cannot fall out. The capacity is large enough to carry plenty of shells for an all day pheasant hunt. It fits tightly to the vest and can be woven in the place that works well for me.

The quick Grab Ammo Pouch works great on my vest and comes highly recommended. I use one pouch for my spare gloves, keys, phone, etc, and the other for ammo. It will be a nice addition when the weather turns colder and I need to carry hand warmers as well.

I originally bought the other ammo pouch. It was a little bulky in the brush so I bought this quick grab pouch instead. I haven't had a chance to use it yet since I bought it after the season was over. It is a little smaller and less bulky so I think this one will work nice. It has real good magnets that hold it closed. I really like the looks of this.

The ammo pouch works well with 12, 20, and 28 gauge shells in the box or loose. The 3 magnets held my ammunition much more securely than I expected. I can micro-adjust the placement and height attachment on the belt for any situation and the attachment is very secure against vines that seem to wrap around equipment when traversing thickets and serious brambles

I have both the quick grab and zippered shell poaches. I use the quick grab when in the prairies and pheasant fields. The zippered works great in the grouse and woodcock coverts when ducking under and crawling over tangles. Both are wonderful and super easy to change out.

This ammo pouch is great. The magnet closure is fantastic. I shoot 28 gauge and it fits plenty of shells. I don't use the exterior velcro quick grab, but it's a cool option that's removable. The pouch is stout enough to actually rest your shotgun on while in the field. Add this to your cart. You can thank me later.

The magnets on the ammo pouches are super handy. When you're chasing birds that are shooting out of corn rows at 100 mph and need to reload quickly the last thing you want to worry about is ammo falling out or slowing you down. These pouches stay shut when you want them to and open as fast as you need.

Wow. I didn't realize how much more I could enjoy my vest until I tried this Quick Grab pouch. I fit an entire box of 12ga shells in this and it automatically snaps back shut after I pull shells out to reload on the fly. The flap has 3 magnets in it which are strong enough to be secure even in thick cover. The entire pouch is made with Cordura too. I remove the exterior velcro shell loop in thick grouse cover, and put it back on for pheasant hunting. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Ammo pouches hold 25+ 12 gauge shells. Easy to get into and don’t have to think about loosing shells with the magnetic top. Very well made!!

I just got the pre-order vest with ammo pouch, so far I love it! It fits perfectly is light weight and breathable. I just ordered another vest. I am a falconer and so far it has been working amazing to carry all of the gear for our birds and German Shorthair . Getting ready for the hunting season hopefully will have photos soon! Thanks.
